Terms of service

Podkin is a service operated by an individual founder based in London, United Kingdom. References to "we", "us", or "Podkin" in these terms mean that founder. You can contact us at hello@podkin.co.uk.

Podkin is currently a pre-launch waitlist. No paid services are being provided yet. These terms cover your use of the website and your subscription to the email waitlist.

Podkin is a peer discussion service. Once pods launch, you'll be able to join a small online group of five people meeting weekly for six weeks to discuss a shared topic — investing, books, learning, or career. Members share their thinking, learning, and frameworks with each other.

Podkin is not:

• An investment service or investment platform
• A financial advice service
• An advisory service of any kind
• Authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)
• A platform that pools capital, sources deals, or makes recommendations

Members of any future investing pod make all their own investment decisions independently. Nothing on this website or said within any pod constitutes financial advice, a financial promotion, recommendation, or solicitation. Capital is at risk in any investment. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.

To join the waitlist you provide your email address and, optionally, some context about what you're interested in. By submitting the form you confirm:

• You're at least 18 years old
• The email address belongs to you
• You consent to us holding your details and contacting you about Podkin
• You understand Podkin is in a pre-launch phase and pods may take time to start

You can leave the waitlist at any time by emailing hello@podkin.co.uk. We'll delete your details within 30 days of your request.

Joining the waitlist is free. Indicative pricing for paid pods is currently shown as £20/month or £200/year, with one subscription giving you up to 3 active pods per month. This is provisional and may change before pods launch. You will not be charged anything until you actively choose to subscribe, separately and explicitly, after pods open. We will tell you the final pricing before asking you to commit.

You agree to use the Podkin website only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading information
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, scrape, or interfere with the service
• Use the service to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Sign up multiple email addresses for the same person

We may remove anyone from the waitlist who breaches these terms.

By joining the waitlist you agree to receive emails from Podkin about the service — including launch updates, pod openings, and questions about what you're looking for. We aim to send infrequent, relevant emails only. We will never send marketing emails on behalf of third parties or sell your email address.

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time by replying with "unsubscribe" or emailing hello@podkin.co.uk.

Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy. By joining the waitlist you consent to us processing your personal data in line with that policy.

All content on the Podkin website — text, design, images, copy, structure — is owned by Podkin or its licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, or republish it without permission, except for reasonable personal use (e.g. sharing a link with a friend).

Podkin is being offered "as is" during the waitlist period. We make no guarantees that pods will launch by any specific date, that you will be matched into a pod, or that any specific pod type will run.

To the extent permitted by UK law, Podkin's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the waitlist or website is limited to £50. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited under UK law.

Once paid pods launch, separate and more detailed terms will apply to those services.

We may update these terms occasionally as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email to people on the waitlist. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the most recent version was published.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
